Students can use their QR codes to login to Clever on a device at home. Students should already have their QR codes but I can reprint or resend them out to those who need it. Their Clever logins will give them access to Exact Path and Study Island. These are programs that have both Reading and Math activities available for students. Students can go on their Math and Reading learning paths on Exact Path and they can complete assignments that I have assigned on Study Island. 

Epic! is an app that we use in class that reads books aloud to students and has an awesome variety of books. Epic! is available to students from their Clever page but you cannot access it at home without paying. However, if you want to have your student login to Epic! you can use our class code azy2737 and you can get a 30 day free trial for your student to use Epic! at home. 

Prodigy is another fun app students can play to practice math at home. Students can click on Prodigy from their Clever page and use their username and login to sign in. 

Raz-kids is a great resource for your scholars to use at home. Your scholars should all know how to log in from the Clever page, if they cannot then the teacher username is dpoteshman and then they click their name, their password is the bunny picture. 

 

I will send home some pages where they can write and answer the prompts. A good idea would be to have a notebook or journal and have your students write notes to you and you can write back, a little dialogue journal. 

 

Please make sure your student is reading at home as much as possible! After your student has read anything you can help them practice their comprehension by asking them questions about what they read (in English or Spanish)! Some example questions are: 

Who is the story about?

When and where does the story take place?

What is happening in the story? 

How do you know that?
