Welcome 3rd graders! This is my third year in a classroom but my first year at Roberto Clemente and I am so excited to meet you all. I graduated from DePauw University with a Bachelors Degree in Education Studies. I later received my Masters in Elementary Education from National Louis University. I grew up in Geneva, IL but have called Chicago home for the past five years. In my free time, I love being active outside, reading, trying new restaurants and cheering for my Chicago sports teams - even when the games are hard to watch.

 

This year, I hope we can all learn, grow and have fun together as a classroom community. It is important to me that all of my students are safe, heard, challenged and supported. I want them to have as much of a role in their learning as I do. I believe in the importance of teaching the whole child so it is my goal to support your child's social, emotional and cognitive needs. That way we will be able to learn and grow together no matter what the year might bring.
