Hi Everyone,

My name is Dalila Georgiou (Ms. Nevarez) and I am so excited to be your child’s 7th/8th grade mathematics teacher.

This is my 11th year teaching at Acero Roberto Clemente. Before my time at Acero Roberto Clemente, I also had the experience of teaching 4th and 5th grade mathematics in Bridgeport. In 2012, I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement in mathematics and science from the University of Illinois at Chicago. In 2019, I earned my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an ESL/Bilingual endorsement through Concordia University Chicago. Outside of teaching I enjoy reading, cooking, traveling, Pilates and spending time with family and friends.

Hola a todos!

Mi nombre es Dalila Georgiou (Sra. Nevarez) y estoy muy orgullosa de ser la maestra de matemáticas de séptimo y octavo grado de su hijo/a.

Este es mi undecimo año enseñando en Acero Roberto Clemente. Antes de mi tiempo en Clemente, tuve la experiencia de enseñar matemáticas de 4  a 5  grado en Bridgeport. En el 2012, obtuve mi Licenciatura en Educación Primaria  con matemáticas y ciencias de la Universidad de Illinois en Chicago. En el 2019, obtuve mi Maestría en Currículo y Instrucción con  ESL / Bilingüe a través de Concordia University Chicago. Fuera de la enseñanza, disfruto leer, cocinar, viajar, Pilates y pasar tiempo con mi familia y amigos.
