Faust Welcome Letter

Clemente Lions,

Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year! It is with great enthusiasm and excitement that I write this letter of introduction as the new assistant principal of Roberto Clemente Elementary School. Roberto Clemente is a special and unique community of which I am now proud to be a part of!

I am truly honored to accept this new role and look forward to working with Principal Laino, as well as the rest of our staff, with effort to do whatever it takes to ensure that our students have an equitable experience and achieve on our campus. Working together, I am confident that we will continue to provide our students with a robust and rich curriculum for academics, an inclusive and vibrant culture, and a holistic, with a focus on personal development, experience.

I am a proud graduate of The Ohio State University where I earned my bachelor of science in special education. I also earned my masters of education in educational leadership with an Illinois principal endorsement from Concordia University Chicago. I am currently pursuing a doctoral degree in educational leadership at DePaul University.

I am now entering my seventh year in education. I have worked with a variety of students ranging in age from kindergarten through and including college. I spent three years as a special education classroom teacher before moving into an instructional coaching position for two years at Noble Butler College Prep. My most recent administrative experience was at Noble Butler College Prep where I served as the principal intern. I am excited and eager to bring my skills as an educational leader to Roberto Clemente and work with you as a partner in education to ensure our students succeed.

As your assistant principal, it is important to me that every person who steps through our doors is excited to be here! This attitude enables us to create a positive, safe, fun, and nurturing learning environment. I take pride in making myself available to build relationships and/or to address any questions or concerns you or your child may have. I encourage you to reach out if you have any additional questions via email at I look forward to an amazing year and working with you as a team to help each student at Roberto Clemente meet their goals and have a successful school year! Go Lions!

In community,

Timothy R. Faust
