Welcome 1st Grade Families!

My name is Danielle Poteshman and this is my third year teaching at Roberto Clemente! I am from Highland Park, IL and graduated from Indiana University with my Bachelors in Elementary and Special Education. I currently live in Chicago and am loving it! I enjoy hanging out with my family and friends, traveling, and working out! 

In our classroom you are valued and cared about. Everyone's ideas are shared and cared for. You have so much to teach me and we learn from each other. I can't wait to learn with you!

For the next few weeks, we will be focusing on classroom procedures, reviewing foundational skills, and assessing students' individual abilities. 

Please check your students blue folders every night for behavior chart to be signed, homework that needs to be completed, and any additional information.
